For a while now, my computer has been randomly freezing. It usually happens when I play games. I have also noticed that my HDD use to disconnect under heavy load. I did a the long scan with the Seagate tools and it said fail. It also told me that I should use the dos version of the tool and use it at boot. So I did. The test completed as well as I also had the Widows ChkDsk tool run as well. I ran the Seagate tool again and it said fail. To be more specific of what happens, I will be playing a game, and all of a sudden the computer will just freeze and the last sound that was playing will loop into a terrible noise. Sometimes my keyboard will shutoff and so will my mouse. If they don't, I try to hit the num key on the keyboard and it wont do anything. I can't do anything when it freezes. I can't alt + F4 out, I can't Ctrl + Alt + Del nor can I Ctrl + Shift + Esc. Nothing will work. I have to do a hard reboot by pressing the reset button on my case.
